Removing air dates from Series overview table

[edit]

Hello! I would like to suggest removing the air dates from the Series overview table. Since the table now has one more finalist, everything is getting disorganized and cluttered. The Series Overview table should just have the finalists, winning coaches, presenters and coaches; instead of an in-depth overview. The airing dates are in each specific season page and in the Ratings table, as well! I'm willing to hear more opinions about this. This is something that is trying to be implemented in The Voice (American TV series). Perhaps keeping just the year the season aired, it can be done too. I will remove to see how it turns out. MarcioRob24 (Talk!) 16:10, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Don't do it like this. We are keeping it like around the world and also like in The Voice Kids (German TV series) and The Voice Senior (German TV series). ArsiArmo (talk) 16:32, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This is a matter of having a good and organized table, which isn't how it is now. What is used around the world doesn't matter either. The Voice Kids (German TV series) and The Voice Senior (German TV series) don't have such a cluttered table, so the dates can stay there. Also, The Voice Kids doesn't have specific seasons pages in English, so it's good to keep the dates there. I have no intention of changing the Kids and Senior versions. I just think that without specific dates the table will look MUCH better. It's very reduntant to have the dates twice in different tables... I would like to hear more people's opinions. MarcioRob24 (Talk!) 16:41, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The Voice of Germany, The Voice Kids Germany and The Voice Senior are the one together, so i think it wouldn't be changed. ArsiArmo (talk) 16:49, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to tell you, but they are all, technically, different. They are just related/brother shows and share similarities. And each table is independent. Again, I will ask for others' opinions. MarcioRob24 (Talk!) 17:04, 21 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hello once again @ArsiArmo: Since you didn't like the idea of removing air dates, I was trying to find a solution for both of us: saving some space for the table (which is getting big and cluttered), by reducing a little the font size and merging the dates in just one column. I know that you're worried that this way will be different from The Voice Kids and The Voice Senior, which the respective tables aren't so cluttered!, so I don't think they need changes. However, if you want all of them to have the same structure, I'll change them too. Also, I would like to ask you: are you from Germany? − MarcioRob24 (Talk!! :D) 16:46, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello once again @MarcioRob24, I want it like this, because not only of The Voice Kids and The Voice Senior, but also because is the same in all other countries. And yes I am from Germany. ArsiArmo (talk) 21:26, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Or we can do only in the ninth and tenth season the fourth and fifth place together, like in the german wikipedia: de:The Voice of Germany. But only the fourth and fifth place. What do you think? ArsiArmo (talk) 21:42, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@ArsiArmo: I think it would make more sense to merge the dates than having fourth and fifth places in the same column. Also, and again, just because other countries present the dates in a way doesn't mean the German version needs to do the same. That isn't a fair argument. I can attach to this discussion all the tables with the dates in one column, so you can see how they look. Looks at things this way: let the German's table to be the first in having the dates merged. :) Plus, I asked if you were German to know how you say the dates in your country: is it day/month/year, correct? − MarcioRob24 (Talk!! :D) 22:50, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@MarcioRob24 no sorry, i don't like it ArsiArmo (talk) 08:58, 31 December 2020 (UTC).[reply]

@ArsiArmo: it's a pity. I saw the German Wikipedia, and there, the dates are exactly like this. The irony... Sorry, but you aren't showing me a real problem for not having it this way. Your personal preference isn't a fair justification. All I'm trying to do with this is stop wasting space on the table. Also, the same goes for my swap between Yvonne & Stefanie and Alice. You said you didn't like it but I showed a fair justification. We need to be objective around here. − MarcioRob24 (Talk!! :D) 13:40, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Samu & Rea's team colour

[edit]

Hello once again @ArsiArmo: Firstly, I would like you to know that undoing everything we are doing is not going to take us anywhere. Secondly, I'm going to show you my reasons here of why I think we should have a new colour for Samu & Rea. Team Samu & Rea's colour is very similar to Rea's solo team colour; if you look at them side by side -    - you can easily see that. A team colour shouldn't be misunderstood with another one; it will be confusing, especially for colourblind people. They will see the table and will find it VERY confusing; they will they are the same colour (just like Stefanie's colour and Yvonne & Stefanie's colour, but let's leave that ones for later). We don't want to discriminate or anyone to feel discriminated. As I said in the justification of my changes, Samu's   + Rea's   =  . The resulting colour is similar to both original coach Xavier  , and The Voice Kids' original coach Tim  . I think we should select one of the following options:

  • 1. Tim stays with   and Samu & Rea have  . Since they aren't in the same show (for now!), they won't be in the same table and, hence, can have similar colours. However, the duo's colour might be misunderstood with Xavier's  ...
  • 2. Swap their current colours, i.e. Tim will have   and Samu & Rea will have  . This one I think is the best option as their won't be any misunderstanding. The Voice Kids' table also needs some lighter colours.

Finally, I perfectly know that all the colours should correspond with the specific season page. I was going to change it in The Voice of Germany (season 10) later today, because I'm a little busy right now. All I want is to have a peacful argument. We deal with stuff by talking. Take care and show your opinion when you can. − MarcioRob24 (Talk!! :D) 19:15, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello MarcioRob24, yes I agree with you. I changed it only because of the other page: The Voice of Germany (season 10) ArsiArmo (talk) 21:20, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your answer ArsiArmo. I'm glad we agree on this issue. And well, I'll go with option 2, if you don't mind then. And don't worry, I'll change the season 10 page as well. − MarcioRob24 (Talk!! :D) 21:40, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Yvonne & Stefanie's colour

[edit]

@ArsiArmo:   is too similar with  . I'm darkening Yvonne & Stefanie's colour just a little to differentiate from Stefanie's solo colour. What is the big deal? − MarcioRob24 (Talk!! :D) 16:13, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

MarcioRob24: It's very dark and also is not similar. Maybe is a little bit similar, but you can see the differences. ArsiArmo (talk) 16:25, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You're seeing it in the mobile? Beacuse in the computer, we can see that it is very similar. I'm not even colorblind and I can misunderstood them. Again, let's not discriminate those people. If   is too dark (which I think it isn't), let's have  . − MarcioRob24 (Talk!! :D) 16:31, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, let's have the second. ArsiArmo (talk) 17:31, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Glad we came to an agreement. − MarcioRob24 (Talk!! :D) 17:45, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Samu & Rea being hyperlinked.

[edit]

Please stop removing the hyperlink for Samu & Rea in the winning coaches column. Even though they both have already won, they were a duo in season 10, therefore it is the first time that they both won together. Wikisteveb4 (talk) 01:43, 12 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Peter’s Colour

[edit]

Let me know what you want Peter’s color to be, I just put the green for now. Please do not make the colour similar to Rea’s and Johannes’ colour. Thank you. Wikisteveb4 (talk) 18:25, 12 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
